A three vehicle crash on the A90 has closed part of the road in both directions.
Traffic Scotland confirmed three vehicles were involved in the collision on the Northbound and Southbound stretches of the A90.
The incident occurred at around 3pm on Sunday between Rathen and Lonmay at the junction with the A952.
Police and the Trunk Road Incident Support Service remain on the scene of the collision, with the force diverting traffic.
A Traffic Scotland post read: “The A90 is closed in both directions at it’s junction with the A952, Lonmay due to a road traffic incident.
“Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route and expect longer than normal journey times.”
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
