Anyone with information on the thefts or who may have been driving in the area is asked to come forward.

Theft of quad bike and mowers in Kintore area of Aberdeenshire sparks police appeal Police Scotland

A quad bike and two mowers have been stolen from football pitches in Aberdeenshire.

The thefts are believed to have taken place between 9pm on Wednesday, July 20 and 8am on Saturday, July 23 in the Midmill area of Kintore.

The quad bike is a Honda Big Red, with black racks front and back, along with a ‘BIGRED’ sticker on the tank.

The first mower is an orange Husqvarna R214TC, with a black frame and the second is a bright green Viking MT4112S, with a black frame.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information about the theft, or the vehicles.

Constable David Calvert said: “We are looking to speak to anyone with information on this theft, or the vehicles in question.

“We are also keen to speak with anyone who may have been driving on the B987 entry to Kintore on any of the nights towards the end of the week and may have seen any suspicious activity.

“Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 1075 of July 23. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
