A teenager has been charged alongside two other men after the recovery of class A and B drugs with an estimated value of £88,670 in Aberdeen.

Officers made the discovery after they received reports of people in a car acting “suspiciously” on Holburn Street around 10.30am on Monday.

The vehicle initially failed to stop when requested but was traced nearby on South Anderson Drive.

The driver and two passengers were arrested and another quantity of drugs was found at a property in John Barbour Court following enquiries

Police confirmed they recovered class A and class B drugs with a street value of around £88,670.

The men, aged 19, 22 and 47, were arrested and charged in connection with the drug recovery.

They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Detective constable Nick Bowyer said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to removing them from the streets of Aberdeen.
