A swimming pool in Aberdeen has been closed until further notice after a girl was taken to hospital after getting into difficulty.
Emergency services were called to Get Active @ Northfield in the Kettleshill Crescent area around 8pm on Monday after the alarm was raised.
A young girl was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Her current condition is unknown at this stage and enquiries remain ongoing.
Sport Aberdeen confirmed that the venue will remain closed until further notice following the incident.
A spokesperson said: “Sport Aberdeen is working closely with the relevant authorities following an incident at Northfield Swimming Pool on the evening of Monday, February 12, 2024.
“Enquiries are ongoing and the venue remains closed until further notice.”
