Two young girls have been charged after a trolley was allegedly thrown from a car park roof.

Police were called to the Kingsgate Centre in Dunfermline after a shopping trolley was “thrown” from a height around 3.50pm on January 4.

An investigation was launched and police have now charged two children in connection.

The force confirmed on social media that two 12-year-old girls have been charged and a report will be sent to the Youth Justice Assessor.
