Scots town becomes centre of six-year UK manhunt for wanted man

Police believe Andrew Armstrong, 37, lives in Pitlochry, in the Perth and Kinross area of Scotland.

A man wanted in connection with a cannabis farm could be living in a Scottish town, Merseyside Police have said.

Andrew Armstrong, 37, is wanted in connection with a drugs offence after disappearing six years ago.

He failed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in relation to a cannabis farm found in Birkdale, Southport in 2017.

Officers trying to trace him have renewed their appeal for anyone with information to come forward.

They now believe he lives in Pitlochry, in the Perth and Kinross area of Scotland.

Armstrong is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair, green eyes, and has connections to Bootle and Southport in Sefton.

Anyone with information can contact Merseyside Police @MerPolCC on Twitter, 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, with reference 0517256353.
