iStockA man who absconded from a prison in Dundee has been traced by police.
John Paul Lynch, 45, was reported missing from HMP Castle Huntly on Thursday evening.
A manhunt was launched by Police Scotland following his disappearance.
In an update on Sunday, police said that Lynch had been traced and returned to prison.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
