A man operating an air glider is to be airlifted to hospital after crashing into a hill in Perth and Kinross.

Police were called to a report of a glider crash at Bishop Hill in Kinross shortly before 2pm on Tuesday.

The man will be airlifted to hospital, the force said.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.50pm on Tuesday, November 7, police were called to a report of a glider crash at Bishop Hill, Kinross.

“Officers attended and a man will be taken by Air Ambulance to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing.”
