A probe has been launched after a man died suddenly on a rural Aberdeenshire road.
Emergency crews were called to Cairn O’ Mount road in Fettercairn at around 2.45pm on Wednesday, July 19.
A 63-year-old man died suddenly, and the road was closed for several hours.
An investigation into the death is ongoing however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances, Police Scotland said.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 2.45pm on Wednesday, July 19, we were called to the sudden death of a 63-year-old man in the Cairn O’Mount Road area of Fettercairn.
“Emergency services attended. The road was closed for several hours and reopened around 8.15pm.
“Enquiries are ongoing, however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.”
