A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following an assault.
Police were called at 3.45am on Saturday following the report of a serious assault in Rattery, Blairgowrie.
A 35-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries.
Enquiries are currently ongoing to trace those involved.
