A man has been charged after an elderly woman was taken to hospital after allegedly being robbed.
The incident happened at around 12.35pm on Monday, May 29 in Albert Street, Dundee.
An 80-year-old woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital and police investigating have now said that a 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery.
He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday, May 31.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Albert Street, Dundee.
“The incident happened around 12.35pm on Monday, May 29, and an 80-year-old woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital.
“The man is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday, May 31.”
