A man has been arrested in connection with the rape of a woman in Dundee.
The 28-year-old woman was assaulted within a flat in Colinton Place on Thursday and is currently receiving treatment at the city’s Ninewells Hospital.
On Friday, Police Scotland confirmed a 31-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident as officers continue their enquiries.
A force spokeswoman said: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault on a 28-year-old woman in Colinton Place, Dundee, on Thursday, February 28.
“The woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital where she is receiving treatment.
“Police enquiries are continuing.”
