A man has been arrested following a fatal Aberdeen road crash which resulted in the death of a teenage boy last year.
Emergency services were called to the B9077 at around 12.40am on Sunday, September 25, 2022, after receiving reports that a black Audi RS3 had crashed.
A 19-year-old man, a passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 23-year-old man, the driver of the car, and a 22-year-old man, another passenger, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where they were treated for minor injuries.
No other vehicles were involved.
It is understood a full collision investigation was carried out at the time and officers appealed for information from the public in the wake of the crash.
Police Scotland confirmed on Tuesday that a 23-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the crash.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
