A 42-year-old has been taken to hospital after allegedly being stabbed by a man in Fife.
Officers were called to reports of a man seriously assaulted on Randolph Crescent, Kirkcaldy on Monday at around 2.05pm.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and a 56-year-old was arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.05pm on Monday, September 11, we were called to a report of a man having been seriously assaulted on Randolph Crescent, Kirkcaldy.
“Emergency services attended and a 42-year-old man was taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, for treatment.
“A 56-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
