A 79-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a minibus in Fife.

Road policing officers were called to a crash involving a pedestrian and a white Peugeot Boxer minibus on Den Walk in Buckhaven at around 2.05pm on Tuesday, March 19.

Emergency services attended and the 79-year-old male pedestrian was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy to be treated for serious injuries.

The driver of the minibus was uninjured.

Police Sergeant Lee Walkingshaw, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1750 of Tuesday, March, 19, 2024.”
