A person has been taken to hospital following an early-morning one-vehicle crash in Moray.

Officers were called to the B9008 between Ballindalloch and Glenlivet after 6.30am on Wednesday following a crash involving one car.

Two ambulances sent to the scene and one person was taken to Raigmore Hospital.

Their condition is currently unknown.

Police confirmed at around 2.40pm that the road remained closed and drivers are being urged to avoid the area.

A Police Scotland statement read: “The B9008 is closed between Ballindalloch and Glenlivet due to a single vehicle crash which was reported around 6.30am.

“Officers are at the scene.

“Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternative route.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 6.37am to attend a one-car road traffic collision on the B9008 between Ballindalloch and Glenlivet.

“Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Raigmore Hospital.”
