A man is in hospital following a crash in Perth on Sunday night.

At around 10.45pm on September 3, a black Audi A3 car crashed on the A90 near Longforgan.

The 56-year-old male driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The road was closed for more than six hours while police carried out investigations at the scene and reopened at around 5am on Monday, September 4.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to establish the full circumstances of the crash.

Sergeant Kevin Wilkie said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances which led to this crash are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to come forward.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage from the area on Sunday evening.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 4280 of September 3.”
