A cyclist has been left seriously injured after being hit by a car at a roundabout in Perth.

Emergency services were called to Crieff Road at around 8.30am on Tuesday after a 28-year-old woman was struck by a car.

She was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Police have confirmed that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Tuesday, April 5, officers were called to a report of a cyclist having been struck by a car at a roundabout on Crieff Road, Perth.

“Emergency services attended and a 28-year-old woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
