Police ScotlandA body has been found during the search for a man who went missing three weeks ago from Perth and Kinross.
Brendan McGivern was reported missing on July 5 but hadn’t been seen since June 20 when he was in the McDonald Crescent area of Blairgowrie and Rattray.
On Friday, July 12 Police Scotland said it found the body of a man near Allan Street in Blairgowrie.
Formal identification has still to take place but the family of the 43-year-old has been informed.
A police spokesperson said: “There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
