A body has been found in the search for a missing man who disappeared four days ago in Moray.
Robert Smith was last seen in Buckie at around 2.50am on Monday.
The 46-year-old has not been in touch with any friends or family since.
Police searching for Mr Smith have now confirmed a body has been discovered in the Douglas Crescent area of the town on Friday morning.
Officers said formal identification has yet to take place but his family has been made aware.
A spokesperson added: “A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
