Fire crews using breathing apparatus battling house blaze

Four crews have rushed to the scene in the Kincorth area of the city amid reports of the blaze.

Fire crews have rushed to the scene of a blaze at a home in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen.

Four appliances alongside colleagues from Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) are in attendance at the property in Fauld’s Gate after the alarm was raised at around 12:30pm.

Teams from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) have deployed breathing apparatus in their attempts to battle back the flames.

It is currently unknown if there are any injuries.

An SFRS spokesperson said: “We received reports of a house fire in the Fauld’s Gate area at 12.21pm today.

“Four appliances from the Central and Altens stations were dispatched to the scene.

“SAS and police are also in attendance to support crews.”

The SAS and Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
