A major road in Aberdeenshire is closed following a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning.
Traffic Scotland warned road users using the A92 that it is closed in the southbound direction at Portlethen following the crash.
Police Scotland confirmed that three vehicles were involved and that the incident occurred at around 7.40am on Wednesday, September 13.
Emergency services are at the scene and motorists are being advised to use alternative routes and expect longer journey times.
It is unknown if there are any injuries as a result of the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40am on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, we were called to a three vehicle crash on the A92 near Portlethen.
“Emergency services are at the scene.”
