Police ScotlandA third person has been charged in connection with the death of a “loving husband and doting father” at a home in Inverness last year.
Ross MacGillivray was found with serious injuries at a property on St Ninian Drive shortly after midnight on Sunday, November 12.
The 36-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later.
Two men, aged 21 and 28, were arrested and charged in connection with Ross MacGillivray’s death in November 2023.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that a 32-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in the Portsmouth area in connection with the death.
Officers from Hampshire and Isle of White Constabulary carried out the arrest on behalf of Police Scotland.
She is due to appear at Inverness Sherriff Court later this week.
