Five people have been taken to hospital following a crash on a major road in the Highlands on Monday afternoon.
At around 4.30pm, police were called to a two-vehicle road crash on the A82 between Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit.
The driver of one car, and four occupants of the second vehicle were taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
There are no details on any of their injuries at this time.
At around 8pm, the road fully reopened and police are carrying out enquiries into the cause of the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson: “Around 4.30 pm on Monday April 17 2023, police were called to a two-vehicle road crash on the A82 between Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit.
“Five people, the driver of one car and four occupants of the second vehicle, have been taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. No details on injury at this time.
“The road has since been re-opened.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of the crash.”
