Two men are due to appear in court in connection with the death of a “loving husband” at a home in Inverness.

Ross MacGillivray was found with serious injuries at a property on St Ninian Drive shortly after midnight on Sunday, November 12.

The 36-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later.

In a statement, his family described him as a “loving husband, a doting father, loved by his family and friends and all who met him.”

On Sunday, police confirmed two men, aged 21 and 28, have been charged in connection with Mr MacGillivray’s death.

The pair are due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.
