Two people have been left injured following a crash in the Highlands.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A939 road near Ferness after the collision was reported at around 3.35pm on Thursday.
Both of the injured people were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.
Local reports say the crash involved a car and two motorcycles.
The road was closed for around five hours as police investigations took place but it has since re-opened.
A spokesman for the force confirmed the incident: “Around 3.35pm on Thursday, 23 June, police were called to a report of a road crash on the A939 near Ferness.
“Two people have been taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.”
