Tributes have been paid to a “much-loved father and brother” who died following an incident in the Highlands.
Thomas McTeir, 50, died in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Tuesday, June 16.
It came after officers were called to an incident at a property in Barrogill Street, Wick, around 9.30pm on Saturday, June 13.
In a statement, his family said: “Tommy was a much-loved father and brother. His loss will be sorely felt by many.
“We would ask that we are given privacy to come to terms with his loss at this time.”
A 60-year-old man appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, June 18, in connection with the death.
