iStockA teen has been charged after police seized drugs and thousands in cash in Orkney.
Officers made the discovery on Saturday after executing a warrant in Kirklands Road, Kirkwall.
Police confirmed they found drugs with estimated street value of £3,000, and a four-figure sum of cash during the raid.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A man has been arrested following a police operation, assisted by PD Zoe, in Orkney.
“On Saturday, July 13, 2024, officers executed a warrant in Kirklands Road, Kirkwall.
“Officers recovered a quantity of drugs, with an estimated street value of £3,000, and a four-figure sum of cash.
“A 19-year old man was arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences.
“He is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
