Search underway for missing woman last seen on Saturday Police Scotland

A search is underway for a missing woman from Inverness who has not been seen in two days.

Michelle Williamson was last seen in the Kinmylies area at around 8pm on Saturday and has not been in contact with friends or family since.

The 51-year-old is described as being around 5ft 7in tall with a medium build and short dark hair which is dyed purple on top.

When she was last seen she was wearing a black and white striped top and black leggings. 

She is believed to have been in the Fort Augustus and Invermoriston areas on Sunday, with the intention of travelling to the Fort William area. 

Inspector Graham Brown, of Inverness Police Station, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace Michelle, and we are becomingly increasingly concerned for her welfare. 

“Anyone with any information that could assist us in tracing Michelle is urged to contact Police Scotland by calling 101.”
