Rita Ora and Taika Waititi have dressed up to enjoy a special Halloween getaway to Shrek’s Swamp in Scotland.
The newlyweds headed to the Highlands where Airbnb worked with a meticulous set designer to bring the Dreamworks ogre’s home to life.
The location is a “mud-laden”, “moss-covered” dream come true for fans all over the world including the famous singer and her director husband.
The couple added an extra layer of reality to the location as they dressed up as the swamp’s original inhabitants, Shrek and Princess Fiona.
Rita Ora shared the experience with her 16m followers on Instagram along with the caption: “Don’t mind us, we’re just two grown adults dressing up around Shrek’s Swamp.
“Thank you to @airbnb and @bchesky for this amazing stay. And oh yeah – happy late Halloween baby.
“We saved the best till last. Ps after filming this I realised Fiona is American but it got too dark to re-film so you’ll have to get a really bad Scottish accent Fiona this year. Your welcome.”
The couple included bloopers at the end of the video in which Rita can be seen breaking her convincing character when her attempt at a Scottish accent goes awry.
Taika can be heard in the background calling his wife’s Scottish accent the “worst” as they laughed the blunder off.
Airbnb sent the internet into a frenzy when it revealed that “verified host” Donkey was “swamp-sitting” for his best pal, Shrek and sharing the home with fans.
The location was opened to the public for just a two night stay with an even more magical price tag in that it cost fans nothing.
The exclusive stay has been and gone, however, Airbnb seems to have opened it up to a select number of Shrek obsessed celebs.
