New image of man missing from Caithness since Christmas released after vehicle found at Dunnet Head Police Scotland

A new image of a man missing from the Highlands since Christmas Day has been released as police continue their efforts to trace him.

Roderick Augusto is believed to have travelled to Caithness on Sunday, December 25 and his vehicle has since been found in the Dunnet Head area.

The 43-year-old is described as white, of slim athletic build and is bald.

Anyone who recognises Roderick or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward.

Sergeant Jonny Wilkin from Thurso Police Office, said: “We are extremely concerned for Roderick’s wellbeing, especially as he has not been seen or heard from for over a week.”

“We are appealing for anyone who recognises Roderick or has information regarding his whereabouts to please come forward.

“We would also urge Roderick to please get in touch with someone to confirm that he is ok.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1593 of Thursday, January 5, 2023.
