A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after being involved with a crash with a car near Grantown-on-Spey.
The crash between a black Ducati Multistrada and a red Vauxhall Corsa happened on the A93 Granton-on-Spey at its junction with A940 at Loch Allan on Saturday July 27 at around 4.05pm.
Emergency services attended and the 49-year-old male rider was taken to Raigmore Hospital before being transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, for treatment to what are described as serious injuries.
The male driver of the red Vauxhall Corsa did not require hospital treatment.
The road was closed to allow for investigations to be carried out and re-opened around 10.15pm.
Sergeant David Miller said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“I would particularly appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the crash and has not already spoken to officers or who has dash cam footage which may assist to get in touch.”
