A man who checked out of a hotel room six days ago and did not return home has been traced, police have confirmed.
Leslie Robertson, from Caithness, was reported missing on Monday after he checked out of the Palace Hotel in Inverness on November 16 and had not been in touch with family or friends.
Following an appeal to the public, police confirmed on Tuesday evening that the 57-year-old had been traced “safe and well”.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are pleased to report that Leslie Robertson, missing from Caithness, has been traced safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our information.”
