A man who died in a three-vehicle crash near the A939 in Nairn has been named by police.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the B9101 near the junction of the A939 at around 7.35am on Friday.

Callum Ewen, 23, from the Fochabers area was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family asked for their privacy to be respected at this time.

Road policing sergeant Chris Donaldson said: “Our thoughts remain with Callum’s family at a very difficult time.

“Enquiries are still ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I would again appeal to anyone who may have information about it to please get in touch with us, quoting incident number 0492 of November 25, 2022.”
