Man treated at scene after police car smashes into Honda dealership

Emergency services were called to Harbour Road in Inverness after receiving reports of a two-car crash.

A man required medical attention after a police car smashed into a Honda dealership in Inverness.

Emergency services were called to Harbour Road at around 2.45pm on Tuesday following a two-car crash involving a police vehicle.

The male driver of the other car was checked over by paramedics at the scene. His current condition is unknown.

Police closed the road while cars were cleared from the roadway and was later re-opened at around 4pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.45pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, emergency services were called to Harbour Road, Inverness following a two-car crash involving a police vehicle.

“The male driver of the other car was checked over by paramedics at the scene.

“The road was closed for a short time whilst the cars were cleared off the roadway and was re-opened around 4pm.

“Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.”
