A man who died in a crash that also left two young children seriously injured has been named.
Reece Tucker, from Kirkton in Dundee, was a passenger in a car on the A93 at Spittal of Glenshee in the Highlands when the incident took place on Sunday.
Emergency services attended just after 4pm and the 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two boys, aged 9 and 5, were also passengers in the BMW 3 series and taken by air ambulance to hospital in Glasgow where their condition has been described as serious.
The 31-year-old driver was also taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses,
Sergeant Fraser Cameron, of the Perth Road Policing Unit, said: “The family has requested privacy at this time.
“Our investigation into the cause of this crash on Sunday afternoon is continuing. I would ask any witnesses to the crash who have not yet spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone driving on the A93 near to its junctions with the B950 and B951 around 4.15pm who has dash-cam footage to come forward.”
