Man not seen since boarding ferry from Aberdeen to Shetland

Martin Kos has been missing since July 14, when he was seen aboard a ferry at around 3.30am.

Police are searching for an Edinburgh man who was last seen on a ferry going from Aberdeen to Shetland.

Martin Kos, 31, was spotted at around 3.30am on July 14 on a Northlink ferry destined for Lerwick.

He is described as being 6ft 8in tall, and when last seen was wearing a brown leather jacket with tan shoes.

Inspector Lynne Kortland said: “We are extremely concerned for the welfare of Martin who has not been seen since the early hours of Thursday morning on board the Northlink ferry which was destined for Lerwick.

“I would urge anyone who has any information on the whereabouts of Martin to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0980 of July 15, 2022.”
