A man has died after a vehicle crashed into his stationary car while he stood beside it on the A9.
Emergency services were called to the A9 northbound near Ralia at around 2.25pm on Wednesday, March 20, following reports of a collision between two cars.
A 90-year-old, who had been standing at his stationary Ford Fiesta at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other car, a Peugeot Boxer, was uninjured.
Road policing sergeant Chris Donaldson said: “Enquiries into the circumstances of this collision are ongoing, and I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen this crash to please contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone with dash-cams to check their footage for anything that could assist us.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact 101 quoting reference number 1924 of March 20.”
