A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a pensioner in the Highlands.
A 66-year-old woman was found dead at an address in Culnakirk near Drumnadrochit on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services made the discovery after being alerted to the property at around 3.40pm.
Police say they are treating the death as “unexplained” and confirmed a 33-year-old man had been arrested on Tuesday.
A spokesperson added: “Officers remain as the scene as investigations into the incident continue.”
