Emergency services have been called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the Highlands.
Police have closed the road on the A9 while investigations are carried out.
The incident occurred between Mybster, B870, and Latheron, A99, around 3pm.
There is currently no detail of any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a two vehicle crash which happened around 3pm on Monday, October 16, on the A9 between Mybster, B870, and Latheron, A99.
“Officers are in attendance and the road remains closed.”
