The sudden death of a man in the Western Isles is being treated as “unexplained” by police.

The 48-year-old was found inside a property at Macmillan Brae in Stornoway, Lewis.

The discovery was made at around 8.45am on Monday morning.

A spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
