Coronavirus outbreak linked to company providing sea tours

NHS Highland asks people who booked at certain times with Oban Sea Tours last weekend to self-isolate and book a test.

NHS Highland has identified a coronavirus outbreak linked to a sea tour company in Argyll and Bute.

Passengers who booked a sailing at certain times with Oban Sea Tours last weekend are being asked to self-isolate for 10 days and book a PCR test.

The trips affected are as follows: The two-hour circular from North Pier that departed at 12.30 on Saturday, June 19; the two-hour circulars that departed North Pier at 12.30 and 3pm on Sunday, June 20; the two-hour circular that departed at 10am on Monday, June 21.

NHS Highland said: “NHS Highland’s Health Protection Team has been notified of cases of Covid-19 linked to Oban Sea Tours.    

“We would ask customers who took a tour with Oban Sea Tours on the following days (June 19, 20 and 21) and times (outlined above) to self-isolate for 10 days from the date of the tour and to book a PCR test whether you have symptoms or not.”
