A body has been found in the search for a missing Inverness woman, who was last seen three weeks ago.
Danielle Guhl, 40, was last seen on Tuesday, July 11 when she left her home in the Merkinch area.
On Monday, police confirmed the body of a woman had been discovered inside a property on the town’s Diriebught Road on July 26.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but Ms Guhl’s family have been informed.
It is currently unknown if there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, and police enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.30pm on Wednesday, July 26, officers discovered the body of a woman in a property on Diriebught Road, Inverness.
“Formal identification is yet to take place, but the family of missing woman Danielle Guhl have been informed.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
