Tenement TV is hosting an indie brunch in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The event, set to take place in Glasgow this weekend ahead of IWD on Tuesday, will feature DJ sets from Medicine Cabinet, Pretty Preachers Club and TTV DJs.
Organisers said those attending can expect “big party vibes” with a soundtrack featuring the likes of CSS, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wolf Alice, Haim, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa and Lizzo.
The indie brunch will take place at St Luke’s on Saturday between 12pm and 3pm.
Tickets cost £10 and include access to the event, entertainment and a free themed cocktail. Brunch is an added extra which can be ordered and paid for at the venue on the day.
Nadine Walker, director at TTV and event organiser, told STV News: “TTV always create a fun International Women’s Day celebration, and due to Covid restrictions it’s been two years since our last IWD event.
“We’re creating a really fun, special event that will bring together like-minded people for a few hours.
“I am delighted to bring some brilliant musicians into the mix for the inaugural indie brunch event.
“Both Medicine Cabinet and Pretty Preachers Club are such exciting new artists, and their energy is perfect for the vibe of the event.
“It feels like we’re turning a corner now, with the return of live music and events.
“After two years, we’re full steam ahead with our TTV Discover Tour and plans for Tenement Trail Festival later in the year too.
“I cannot wait to kickstart our events again this weekend at the TTV indie brunch.”
