Scotland’s largest rooftop garden is set to welcome stargazers for an ‘out of this world experience’.
New Lanark World Heritage Site will host a family friendly astronomy talk that will open visitors’ eyes to the starscape above.
Following the talk, stargazers will then be able to take part in cosmic craft activities – including a chance to create their own telescope with real lenses.
The event will then move up to the rooftop garden where telescopes will be provided for observing the skies and stars.
Visitors are welcome to take their own telescopes.
As well as games and quizzes, there will also be a pop-up cafe.
The Mill Cafe will also be open late for those looking for an early dinner ahead of the event.
The sessions last for two hours and will take place on January 31 and February 1 and 2.
Time slots can be booked on the New Lanark World Heritage Site website.
