Legendary ska band Madness have announced Scottish dates as part of their long-awaited UK tour.

The band, which was first formed in 1976, will perform at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro and Aberdeen’s P&J in November and December this year.

Madness, who are best known for songs such as One Step Beyond and Baggy Trousers, will also perform in cities including Cardiff, Manchester and Bournemouth as part of its C’est La Vie tour.

The group is arguably the most well-known act to come from the UK’s two-tone ska revival and dominated the charts in the late 70s and early 80s.

Fans can catch the band at Aberdeen’s P&J Live on November 30, before they perform at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on December 1.

Tickets for Madness will go on sale on Friday, April 28.
