Little Mix have been forced to cancel their UK summer tour – which included three Scottish dates – due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The pop group were due to kick off the tour at the Falkirk Stadium on Friday, June 26, before later playing Ayr Race Course on Saturday, July 25, and Hazelhead Park in Aberdeen on Sunday, July 26.

However, they have confirmed the tour is now off in a statement and told fans to expect communication from their ticketing agent shortly.

“We are so sad to announce that following the latest government advice, we have to cancel our upcoming UK Summer Tour,” the group said.

“The health and safety of all our fans and crew is always our number one priority.

“Please look out for an email from your ticketing agent shortly.”

The group added: “Please stay safe and stay home”.
