Groups of fans can be seen outside Ibrox setting up for the night ahead of the gig, despite warning from distribution company Ticketmaster that camping near the venue “is prohibited”.

Tickets for the long-awaited concert reportedly sold out within two minutes of going on sale in January, after the popstar revealed he would only be performing in Glasgow for one night.

The multi-platinum selling artist will be the first to perform on the Ibrox pitch in almost two decades, with the last being John Bon Jovi in 2007.
