The Fratellis, Tom Walker and Del Amitri will be among some of the stars heading to Glasgow this December as part of Virgin Radio’s Big Thank You tour.
Performing at the OVO Hydro arena on December 20, the show is one of three gigs that will make up the tour, which is being staged as a tribute to key workers who helped Britain through the height of the pandemic.
The tour will move on to the AO Arena in Manchester on December 21, before culminating in The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on December 23.
The gigs will be fronted by a number of acts from the world of music including The Fratellis, Tom Walker, The Vaccines, Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Grennan, Del Amitri, David Gray, Newton Faulkner and Isaac Stuart.
Virgin Radio content director Mike Cass said: “At Virgin Radio UK, we wanted to do what we could to celebrate our key workers and thank them for everything they have done for us all during the pandemic.
“The Big Thank You Tour will be one big rock star thank you, from some of the best names in the business with lots of great music.”
Virgin Radio is offering free tickets to key workers – that’s any NHS staff and emergency service worker, to postmen, binmen, pharmacists, supermarket workers, teachers and many more.
Key workers can register for their free tickets online.
