A festive movie drive-in is set to return to Loch Lomond this Christmas.

After being forced to cancel last year due to coronavirus restrictions, Itison Drive-In Movies will return to the shores of the loch to screen a selection of top Christmas films in December.

Festive favourites such as Elf, Home Alone, Die Hard, Love Actually and It’s A Wonderful Life will be screened from December 17 to Christmas Eve at the event.

New films have also been added to the line up for 2021, including Tom Hanks’ animated classic The Polar Express and romantic comedy The Holiday.

Alongside their chosen movie, ticket holders can enjoy street food from some of Scotland’s best caterers, churros and sweet treats from Loop and Scoop as well as in-car quizzes and car-aoke.

Oli Norman, CEO of Itison said: “We’ve been running Drive-In since 2013, giving thousands of families magical memories every Christmas.

“We were gutted at being forced to cancel last year at a time when people needed something fun and festive, so we’re delighted to be back this year and can’t wait to help everyone get into the Christmas spirit!”

Tickets will go on sale from 7.30am on Wednesday from itison.com/drive-in.
